JOYinCARE ondertekent de Green Deal: ‟We zijn ontzettend trots op deze belangrijke stapˮ
Zwolle, Nederland – JOYinCARE heeft vandaag tijdens een nationaal zorgcongres in Zwolle met trots de Green Deal ondertekend. Als specialist in til- en transferhulpmiddelen zet het bedrijf hiermee een grote stap richting een duurzamere zorgsector. “We zijn ontzettend trots op deze belangrijke stap,” aldus Robert van Leeuwen, Chief Executive Officer van JOYinCARE. “De ondertekening van de Green Deal sluit perfect aan bij de interne duurzaamheidsinitiatieven waar we al langere tijd mee bezig zijn.”
Sustainable employability
Since its founding in 2009, JOYinCARE has prioritized sustainable and socially responsible business practices. “Our products reduce the physical burden on caregivers, promote enjoyable working conditions, and support long-term employability. In doing so, we contribute to the affordability of healthcare,” van Leeuwen explains.
Focus on climate impact
By signing the Green Deal, JOYinCARE deepens its commitment. This time with a clear focus on climate impact. “Sustainable entrepreneurship has long been on our radar, but we now realize there’s even more we can do,” van Leeuwen says. This includes targeted actions, such as reducing CO₂ emissions and minimizing waste through circular practices. Behind the scenes, JOYinCARE is already working on several sustainability initiatives.
"We’re exploring ways to reduce logistics movements, actively looking at how to make our building in Assen more energy-efficient, and preparing to launch a fully recyclable product."
